ECONYL™ is reclaimed nylon that provides a much safer solution for the protection and preservation of marine life. For every 10,000 tones of ECONYL™ used, 70,000 barrels of crude oil are saved and the production of more than 65,1000 tones of C02 eq. Emissions are spared. Using this recycled material is a vital step towards keeping oceans clean, as this regenerated premium nylon is made from discarded fishing nets that get tangled in reefs and risk trapping fish and animals. Through a radical regeneration process, nylon is transformed into its original form.
