INTRODUCING

ECONYL® Swimwear Collection

Take a plunge into sustainable swimwear.

Make a splash with Noize’s maiden swimwear line, a collection of swimsuits for men and women.

Each style was developed with ECONYL® regenerated nylon, an ethically sourced Italian fabric. This premium-quality, breakthrough textile is made entirely from recycled materials like fishing nets, fabric scraps, and carpets, creating swimwear you can feel good about wearing. ECONYL® is lightweight, breathable, and ultra-comfortable. It retains its shape for a long time, stands up to pilling, and is chlorine, sun cream and oil resistant.

Every sustainable step can have an impact for the future of our planet.

ECONYL® is a fabric that provides a safer solution for the protection and preservation of aquatic life: for every 10,000 tonnes xq ECONYL® used, 70,000 barrels of crude oil are saved and the production of more than 65,100 tonnes of CO2 eq. emissions are spared. Using this recycled material is a vital step towards keeping our oceans clean, as these improperly abandoned nets can get tangled up in reefs and risk trapping fish and animals.

Did you know that abandoned fishing gear kills over 100,000 whales, dolphins, seals and turtles every year? Too often, fishing nets are left abandoned in the oceans. These nets—called “ghost nets”—are barely visible, and trap animals like sea turtles, dolphins, sharks, fish, and other marine life. But volunteer divers have been collecting these nets in order to free them from the seas and give them a second life.

Founded in 2018, Coralisma's team of volunteers is working to reforest degraded reefs by growing new coral trees in nurseries and then re-planting them in the waters of Mexico. Coral reefs are a vital part of underwater ecosystems.

Home to nearly a quarter of all marine life, these organisms also create the ideal habitat for sea creatures to lay their eggs. But it isn't just our oceans who benefit from its presence: coral is renowned for its medicinal properties, containing compounds used by scientists to develop new medicine. Coral is life-giving and lifesaving, but it won't be around for much longer if we don't act fast.

Mass coral bleaching events spurned by our destructive behaviors have a devastating effect on aquatic life and at an alarming pace. The loss of coral would effectively eliminate so much marine life. However, organizations like Coralisma believe there is a way to counter the effects of climate change. Since their founding over three years ago, the team has successfully planted 1,300 new reefs in Playa del Carmen.

1% of swimwear sales will be donated to Coralisma.

Inspired by the possibility of exploring sunny destinations once again, we enlisted the help of Italian-born, Mexico-based photographer and videographer Francesca Reina to shoot our first swimwear line.

Fran is the visionary behind all of Coralisma's breath-taking underwater imagery, and so partnering with her to unveil the launch just made sense. Fran is passionate about Coralisma's mission of saving coral reefs and enthusiastically shared with us the importance of caring for the environment and the different ways she gives back. We were so moved by her words and Coralisma's commitment to rehabilitating the ocean that we decided to get involved too—after all, spreading awareness about environmental issues is core to Noize's DNA. While we wait for travel to resume and while we fantasize about beach getaways, now's a great time to remind ourselves that the opportunity to enjoy beaches and the ocean is an absolute privilege, one not to be taken for granted. Our hope is for future generations to have access to an unpolluted sea, but for that to happen, we need to take action now and minimize harm to marine ecosystems. Noize Swim, made entirely from recycled materials, is a step towards cleaner waters and a brighter future.
